The gurgling, weird pains, and feeling like there's a tight ball right in the middle of your stomach – Oh, I know all too well. You can’t eat, but you are craving sweets and chocolates, especially at night. Yet, here we give you 7 ways to comfort your stomach upset from opiate withdrawal.

 As long as you drink a few protein shakes a day you’ll be fine! Listen to your body – don’t force yourself to eat! Fasting is one of the most powerful healing tools on this planet. Many people will tell you to force yourself to eat during detox/withdrawal. This is not good advice.

Fasting may be associated with spirituality, but you don't have to be spiritual to take advantage of it. However, if you are seeking your Higher Power (GOD) during this time, fasting will propel you deeper into His presence at a much faster rate. 

I’m not saying that you will or won't be able to eat after you try one or two (or all) of these 7 ways to comfort your stomach upset from opiate withdrawal. Go with the flow and follow what your body is telling you.
