Part 1 - How to Have Fun While Living Sober

When your entire life used to revolve around drugs (or still is), changes are not easily made. You may not feel comfortable at first, but if you are really going to be committed to living sober and free from all substances, you have allow yourself to feel uneasy for a short while. Anything that you choose to do will eventually become a habit.

When you first took that first hit of a blunt, or had that first sip of wine from your mother’s refrigerator, it probably wasn’t comfortable at all. Maybe you did it out of sheer curiosity, to look cool, or both. Either way, wine does not taste that good to children and teenagers (and even some adults hate the taste). Inhaling smoke for the first time will make you choke and cough which is not all that pleasant.

What we are trying to say is if you can permit yourself to feel awkward while having fun and living sober, for, maybe the first time in your life, eventually, you will do it without even thinking. Let’s take a look at some ways that you can have fun while living sober.
